Northern California War Tax Resistance (NCWTR) provides information and support for conscientious war tax resisters in Northern California, primarily in the San Francisco Bay Area. In addition, it operates the People’s Life Fund (a local alternative fund for resisted war taxes), offers informational workshops, provides individual counseling, does public outreach and holds demonstrations.

In 2017, People's Life Fund gave East Bay Cohousing a grant to seed this project.
