Learn about Jewish Cohousing in Berkeley

Urban Moshav is partnering as a non-profit developer of Jewish CohousingUrban Moshav is currently facilitating the formation of Berkeley Moshav, a 20-25 household Jewish cohousing community being created in Berkeley, CA. We intend to be diverse in age, income, family structure, and Jewish observance and to have a kosher community kitchen. (Each home will have a private kitchen too.)

Just picture what it would be like...

  • To live in a real village, knowing your neighbors well and engaging deeply in community life.
  • For much of this engagement to be through Jewish ritual, learning, culture, and values.
  • To create such a Jewish cohousing community in Berkeley!Dynamic Governance workshop in Berkeley

We'll also share info on our upcoming Dynamic Governance workshop with Ecovillage pioneer / Creating a Life Together author Diana Leafe Christian (right) ... a great way to get to know us and learn the skills for effective collaborative community living. There are discounts and Berkeley Moshav members get first dibs. Learn more about that workshop here.
