Community, Connect! is a 2-3 hour event that combines, music, meaningful conversations, networking, and heart to heart connection.
Join EBCOHO Member Patricia Mikkelson at the EBCOHO Clubhouse at The Long Haul InfoShop this Thursday for an evening of meaningful fun and empathy where you very likely could:
• make new friends and deepen existing friendships
• find potential clients and housemates
• learn new skills expand your knowledge of the life-changing activities going on in the Bay area.
• discover kindred spirits with common interests with whom you can collaborate.
Bring a healthy dish to share (preferably vegan or vegetarian), networking materials, and a heart that is open to wonderful things happening.
Come for the entire event (highly recommended), or just drop in any time.
Tentative Schedule: (may be abbreviated)
• 6-6:15 pm Arrive, set out networking material, post notices (needs and offerings) and food.
• 6:15-6:45 Opening circle--have your 30 second "elevator speech" ready so people can get to know you.
• 6:45-7 Create the space: Using open space technology, we will quickly create a schedule where people can briefly introduce any uplifting topic they want to teach or talk about.
• 7-7:55 Share a meal and be a part of a conversation that you want to be a part of
• 7:40-8 Closing circle--songs and sharing
• 8-9 Hang out and enjoy deepening the connections, perusing the networking table, and basking in the after glow of loving interactions.

Patricia is traveling around the US supporting people who are working on projects that touch her heart, including creating intentional community and building capacity in our culture so that everyone can thrive. She is the founder of the Critical Mass Project http://www.criticalmassproject.wordpress.com which promotes ways that we can find ways to be more effective in helping a critical mass of people wake up and work together to solve every problem that faces us.
