Hello there, we are Alexis Stephens & Christian Parsons of Tiny House Expedition, adventurers at heart and storytellers by trade. We are a filmmaker duo and ordinary couple taking an extraordinary trip across the US & Canada with our DIY tiny house on wheels in tow. Our expedition is a journey with a purpose. Tiny House Expedition is a documentary storytelling and community outreach project that seeks to inspire & empower people to think BIG & build small as means to provide more quality, affordable housing & more connected communities. We are traveling for two years to tell the stories of tiny house communities across the nation and tell the story of how each came into being, the people behind them & how they are making a difference in their communities. The underlying purpose of our project is spark community conversation, share resources & inspire positive community building to create more micro-housing projects, providing an economically & environmentally sustainable housing solution for all. There’s power in storytelling, and our goal is to contribute to a ripple effect of positive change through tiny housing advocacy. We seek to help with the mainstreaming of tiny houses, a broadening of the modern housing spectrum. More safe, quality, affordable & legal housing options are needed & desired.
