Kick off National Cohousing Open House Day with us, learning about cohousing neighborhoods in Berkeley, Oakland, Emeryville, and beyond, as part of this coordinated effort.

RSVP on this page for the basic introduction event at the East Bay Cohousing (EBCOHO) clubhouse Saturday morning, including a virtual tour by Cohousing Coach Raines Cohen and presentations by several Northern California forming communities and networking with other community seekers.

Afterwards, optionally join the Cohousing Coaches for a group van tour of several East Bay communities (advance purchase required via separate link - see comments).

Or: pick up a map with open hours for a self-guided tour, potentially carpooling or biking. Note that some community addresses will NOT be posted online, to help preserve privacy for residents.

This kick-off gathering is open to all; We ask for $20 per household or group to help cover our outreach/advertising/MeetUp costs and rent (half off for EBCOHO Supporting Members). Light refreshments served.

* Fair Oaks EcoHousing, a longtime Cohousing California supporting group, ready for move-in this summer near Sacramento
* Hibiscus Commons, a Berkeley-area forming group partnering with a Community Land Trust to create affordable senior cohousing
* Washington Commons, our newest Supporting Member Group, getting ready to build in West Sacramento, a short train ride from Berkeley
