So far, most of the state's Cohousing has been in the North, Central Valley and the Bay Area, with the farthest south "classic" cohousing neighborhoods in the San Luis Obispo area and Fresno. However, there are some activities and groups working on making it happen in Los Angeles, San Diego, and beyond.
