Cohousing California

The first North American cohousing neighborhoods, both new-build and retrofit, emerged in Davis; others have followed in the city (including the country's first Senior Cohousing neighborhood) and in nearby Sacramento, the state's capital. In the quarter century since then, they've spread as far North as Chico and as far South as Fresno.
