Under $400 roundtrip for nonstops from Baltimore on AirTran

I just helped my friend Ann Zabaldo, Mid-Atlantic Cohousing community organizer extraordinaire, get her conference flights. We'd been watching for deals, and on Kayak this one got our attention: $356 roundtrip on nonstops from Baltimore? As of this afternoon, 3 seats were left for an outbound flight Tuesday night in time for pre-conference workshops or local tours, returning Monday evening on a red-eye flight. And remember, for under $10 you can take the subway directly from SFO, even with luggage.

• Portland ($109 for Tuesday/Wednesday travel)

• Los Angeles or San Diego ($79)

• Las Vegas ($85)

• Seattle ($89)

• Dallas or Chicago ($149)

Note that although Oakland airport (OAK) is closest to the conference, you can take the BART subway directly from SFO to the conference hotel, in less than an hour, with service from early morning 'til near midnight; a network of buses provides all-night service.

You've got 'til the 17th for these deals, although seats are limited. But what seats they are, with wireless internet and an incredible entertainment system.
