Conference
June 15-17 in Oakland, CA
Be part of the California delegation! Get your community represented here and at our table.
Cohousing California is proud to be a regional host and Platinum Sponsor of the 2012 National Cohousing Conference, returning the SF Bay Area this June after an 11-year absence and we're hoping that you will join us in making the trip -- and see our page with travel deals to help you get there, and take advantage of our extended earlybird prices and member specials.
We will be participating in the conference (and the Cohousing University workshops that precede it) with a presence led by Cohousing Coaches Raines Cohen and Betsy Morris of Berkeley Cohousing, East Bay Cohousing (EBCOHO) community organizers. We know that Cohousing movement founders Chuck Durrett and Katie McCamant of Nevada City Cohousing will be there, along with a contingent from our Supporting Member forming Folsom group near Sacramento and the new Phoenix Commons bayfront Senior Cohousing under development in Oakland - how about you? Our Facilitation Intensive workshop series leader Laird Schaub will be there, along with many more.
We will have a table in the conference exhibit area, where we'll be sharing info about existing communities and new opportunities throughout this wonderful state, and we would love to represent your community in our outreach there to the hundreds of key influencers in the cohousing movement who will participate from around the country. We're also, with help from our friends at PLACE for Sustainable Living putting together an outdoor "parklet" lounge and classroom where you can relax and connect.
Please contact us to learn more about how you can be part of the California Delegation to the conference and save on conference admission.
